The Story of our Olive Oil
In 1891 when the Dominican Sisters arrived at Mission San Jose, they were welcomed by silvery olive trees planted on these grounds by Franciscan friars. The Sisters processed the olives for their rich oil between 1894 and 1965. Olive harvests resumed in 2000, engendering a spirit of gratitude for Earth's bounty.
Our prized extra virgin Dominican Sisters Olive Oil is bottled by the Sciabica Family of Modesto, CA. Start a new tradition and share it with your friends.
