Thank You For Your Support
The Holiday Boutique supports our Sisters in the Care Center and our senior Sisters. We donate ten percent of our Boutique earnings to help communities rebuild after natural disasters and pandemics. In the past, these funds have been sent to local food banks in the Fremont Tri-City area, humanitarian efforts in Ukraine and Myanmar, and earthquake relief efforts in Turkey and Syria, to name a few. Thank you for making this happen!
Make the Boutique an annual family tradition!
We have something for everyone on your gift list. Visit our booths showcasing the Signature Items and many one-of-a-kind products made by our Sisters and friends, such as baby onesies, bibs and blankets; toddler ponchos; pet blankets; aprons; hats and scarves; fused glass art and ceramic art; beautiful plants and so much more! Don’t forget the Boutique Bakery with the holiday cookies, breads, apple and peach strudels.
Bring your favorite shopping bag so you can fill it up with all your goodies.

The Story of our Olive Oil
In 1891 when the Dominican Sisters arrived at Mission San Jose, they were welcomed by silvery olive trees planted on these grounds by Franciscan friars. The Sisters processed the olives for their rich oil between 1894 and 1965. Olive harvests resumed in 2000, engendering a spirit of gratitude for Earth's bounty.
Every year, we share this blessing with our Boutique family and friends! We cultivate the largest remaining grove of mission-era olive trees in California. The public at large is invited annually to a morning of harvesting that is becoming a family tradition as well! (This year our harvesting is scheduled for Saturday, December 9 from 9:00 a.m. – 12 noon. Please mark your calendar).
Our prized extra virgin Dominican Sisters Olive Oil is bottled by the Sciabica Family of Modesto, CA. Start a new tradition and share it with your friends.
