Collection: ORIGAMI

Origami, derived from ori (meaning folding) and kami (meaning paper), is the art of paper folding, which is often associated with Japanese culture. The objective in Origami is to transform a flat square sheet of paper into a finished decorative object.

S. Mary Yun, OP, our Vocation and Candidate Director, learned how to do origami as a young sister in the convent, and has been using her paper folding talent to create these beautiful Kusudama flowers, multiple paper models that are fit together strongly to form a spherical shape.
